Terms and Conditions – Char Dham Cab

Welcome to Char Dham Cab. By accessing this website or booking any taxi service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all Char Dham Yatra tours, one-way, round-trip and outstation taxi bookings.

By proceeding with a booking, the customer acknowledges that Char Dham Cab does not operate vehicles or employ drivers and acts only as a booking and facilitation platform.

1. Service Overview

Char Dham Cab is a booking platform for taxi services including Char Dham Yatra (Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, Yamunotri). We do not own vehicles or employ drivers.

All services are provided by independent drivers and vehicle owners operating under valid permits, licences and insurance. We have no control over driver behaviour, vehicle condition or route decisions.

2. Booking & Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only after communication and advance payment (if required). We reserve the right to cancel bookings in case of incorrect or incomplete details.

3. Fare, Distance & Charges

All fares are indicative and based on estimated distance and vehicle category. Final charges depend on actual kilometres, route and trip duration.

Toll tax, parking, state tax, entry fees and permits are extra unless specified.

Char Dham routes may include additional hill charges, driver allowance and minimum kilometre rules as informed during booking.

4. Payments

Payments must be completed through UPI or bank transfer. Services may be cancelled in case of non-payment or delay without liability.

5. Pickup, Waiting & Route

Pickup timing depends on traffic and weather conditions. Waiting charges may apply for delays caused by the customer. Route selection is at the driver’s discretion.

6. Vehicle & Service Limitations

In case of breakdown or emergency, alternate vehicles may be provided subject to availability. We are not responsible for delays due to such situations.

7. Accident, Injury & Insurance

All vehicles are expected to have valid insurance. In case of any accident, liability lies with the driver and vehicle owner as per law.

8. Luggage & Belongings

Customers are responsible for their luggage. We are not liable for loss or damage.

9. Passenger Conduct

Misconduct, illegal activity or damage to vehicle may result in trip termination without refund.

10. Limitation of Liability

Char Dham Cab is not liable for actions of drivers or service delays. Any liability, if proven, will be limited to the booking amount paid.

11. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or cancellations due to weather, landslides, road conditions or government restrictions, especially in hill areas.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Indian law and disputes fall under New Delhi jurisdiction.
