This 5 days Badrinath Yamunotri itinerary is designed for pilgrims planning a comfortable visit to two sacred temples of the Char Dham Yatra. Pickup can be arranged from Haridwar, Rishikesh or Dehradun.

Day 1: Haridwar / Rishikesh / Dehradun to Barkot

Your journey begins with pickup from Haridwar, Rishikesh or Dehradun in the morning. Drive towards Barkot through scenic Himalayan roads.

  • Arrival at Barkot by evening

Overnight stay in Barkot near Yamunotri route.


Day 2: Yamunotri Darshan

Early morning drive to Janki Chatti, the starting point for the Yamunotri trek.

  • Trek approx 6 km to Yamunotri Temple
  • Yamunotri temple darshan
  • Visit Surya Kund hot spring
  • Explore Yamuna river origin area

Return to Barkot for overnight stay.


Day 3: Barkot to Joshimath

After breakfast start the drive towards Joshimath through beautiful Himalayan valleys and river routes.

  • Drive through Rudraprayag route
  • Views of Alaknanda river valley
  • Arrival at Joshimath by evening

Overnight stay in Joshimath.


Day 4: Badrinath Darshan

After breakfast drive to Badrinath Temple, located about 45 km from Joshimath.

  • Badrinath Temple darshan
  • Holy bath at Tapt Kund (if permitted)
  • Visit Mana Village – last village of India
  • Explore Vyas Gufa and Bhim Pul

Return to Joshimath for overnight stay.


Day 5: Joshimath to Haridwar / Rishikesh / Dehradun

After breakfast begin the return journey towards Haridwar, Rishikesh or Dehradun.

  • Drive through Rudraprayag and Devprayag
  • Short stops for meals and rest
  • Evening arrival at your pickup city
