Kedarnath Gangotri Itinerary 5 Days (Haridwar / Rishikesh / Dehradun Pickup)
This 5 days Kedarnath Gangotri itinerary follows the traditional Char Dham sequence, covering Gangotri first and then Kedarnath. Pickup can be arranged from Haridwar, Rishikesh or Dehradun.
The journey includes visits to Gangotri Temple, the sacred origin of the river Ganga, and Kedarnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.
Day 1: Haridwar / Rishikesh / Dehradun to Uttarkashi
- Pickup from hotel / railway station / airport
- Drive via Mussoorie or Chamba route
- Scenic drive along Bhagirathi river
Night Stay: Uttarkashi
Day 2: Uttarkashi – Gangotri Darshan (First Dham)
- Early morning drive to Gangotri Temple
- Darshan of Maa Ganga at Gangotri Dham
- Holy dip in Bhagirathi river (if permitted)
Return to Uttarkashi after darshan.
Night Stay: Uttarkashi
Day 3: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi / Sitapur
- Long scenic drive across mountain valleys
- Pass through Tehri Dam and Srinagar
- Continue towards Guptkashi / Sitapur
Night Stay: Guptkashi / Sitapur
Day 4: Guptkashi – Kedarnath Trek & Darshan (Second Dham)
Drive to Gaurikund and begin trek to Kedarnath Temple.
- Kedarnath trek distance: approx 16 km
- Pony, palki and helicopter options available
- Reach Kedarnath and attend temple darshan
Night Stay: Kedarnath
Day 5: Kedarnath to Haridwar / Rishikesh / Dehradun
- Early morning darshan (if time permits)
- Trek down to Gaurikund
- Drive back to your drop location
