This 3 days Kedarnath itinerary is designed for travellers who want a quick and comfortable Char Dham visit with private cab support. Pickup can be arranged from Haridwar, Rishikesh or Dehradun depending on your convenience. Our drivers are experienced in mountain routes and Kedarnath yatra travel conditions.
This itinerary is flexible and can be customized according to your travel schedule, hotel preference and pickup city. If your pickup is from Haridwar, Rishikesh or Dehradun the journey will start directly from your hotel, railway station or airport location as per your booking confirmation.
Kedarnath yatra involves both road travel and trekking from Gaurikund, so travellers should be prepared for mountain weather conditions and follow all Uttarakhand government travel guidelines.
Day 1: Haridwar / Rishikesh / Dehradun to Guptkashi
Your Kedarnath journey starts with pickup from Haridwar, Rishikesh or Dehradun early in the morning. The route passes through scenic Himalayan towns and sacred river confluences.
During the journey you will drive through Devprayag where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers meet to form the holy Ganga river. The road further continues towards Rudraprayag and then to Guptkashi region.

Overnight stay in Guptkashi area near Kedarnath route. Hotels are usually booked in Guptkashi, Phata or Sitapur depending on availability during the yatra season.
Day 2: Guptkashi to Kedarnath Darshan
Early morning drive to Gaurikund, which is the starting point of the Kedarnath trek. From Gaurikund pilgrims proceed towards Kedarnath temple.
Kedarnath Trek Details
- Total trek distance approximately 16 to 18 km
- Main route: Gaurikund → Jungle Chatti → Bheembali → Kedarnath
- Pony and palki services are available on the trekking route
- Helicopter service is also available from Phata / Sersi (subject to availability)
After reaching Kedarnath temple, pilgrims can complete darshan and attend evening aarti if time permits. Overnight stay will be arranged near Kedarnath temple area in guest house or dharamshala.
Day 3: Kedarnath to Haridwar / Rishikesh / Dehradun
After morning darshan at Kedarnath temple, start trekking back towards Gaurikund. Once you reach Gaurikund our driver will meet you at the parking area.
Return Journey
- Trek down from Kedarnath to Gaurikund
- Drive back via Rudraprayag route
- Short breaks for meals and rest during journey
- Evening drop at Haridwar / Rishikesh / Dehradun
Your Kedarnath yatra concludes with comfortable drop at your preferred location.

- Char Dham registration is mandatory before starting the yatra.
- Trekking, pony, palki and helicopter charges are not included in cab package.
