This 7 days Kedarnath Yamunotri itinerary is designed for travellers starting their Char Dham journey from Delhi NCR or Chandigarh. The itinerary allows comfortable travel time while covering two sacred temples of the Char Dham circuit.

Day 1: Delhi / Chandigarh to Haridwar
Your journey begins with pickup from Delhi NCR or Chandigarh in the morning. Drive towards Haridwar which is the traditional starting point for the Char Dham Yatra.

Day 2: Haridwar to Barkot
After breakfast start the drive towards Barkot via Mussoorie. The road offers beautiful views of Himalayan valleys and forest landscapes.

Day 3: Barkot – Yamunotri Darshan – Barkot
Early morning drive to Janki Chatti, the starting point for the Yamunotri trek. From here pilgrims trek approximately 6 km to reach Yamunotri Temple.

Return to Barkot for overnight stay.
Day 4: Barkot to Guptkashi
After breakfast continue your journey towards Guptkashi, an important stop on the Kedarnath route. The drive passes through beautiful valleys and rivers of Uttarakhand.

- Arrival at Guptkashi or Phata

Day 5: Kedarnath Darshan
Early morning drive to Sonprayag and continue towards Gaurikund which is the base point for the Kedarnath trek.

Day 6: Kedarnath to Guptkashi
After morning darshan at Kedarnath Temple begin the trek back to Gaurikund and continue the drive towards Guptkashi.

Day 7: Guptkashi to Delhi / Chandigarh
After breakfast start the return journey towards Delhi NCR or Chandigarh. The long scenic drive passes through Rudraprayag, Devprayag and Haridwar.

- Short stops for meals and rest
- Arrival in Delhi NCR or Chandigarh by evening or night
